5.1.24: Mayday/ wacky wednesday

Taste Test Tuesday went wacky!

We went waaay outside the comfort zone and routine! Of course we had to do the May Day baskets. Some maybe remember as a young'n making baskets outta cups and paper and basically anything, then you fill them with fluffy stuff and top it with the most important ingredient... CANDY! Then we brought them to the neighbor or a loved one?! Wasn't that the funnest thing?! Except listen to this... 🫣 I kid you not.... back in the day (and even today!) I FORGOT HOW TO SAY HAPPY MAY DAY! what the world?! I think my tongue broke! 🤦‍♀️

I think we need to bring that tradition back to life! You come with me and I'll hold the basket, you say the words. Kay?!

Anyone have darling memories and pictures of doing that as a kid? Surely I'm not the only one... 🫣😂

We (Lucy) made the umbrellas/ baskets ( good thing. Bcuz it barely rained on MayDay, luckily we got you that umbrella,eh?!), then they got filled with the fluffies, then topped with strawberry and pomegranate meringue bites! 🤤🙂‍↕️ yep, I ain't even kidding! Cait didnt even drool on a single Mayday basket! If I'm being honest... thats bcuz Lucy bundled them right on up before I got to it! That is besides the point!

We also had the NEW granola (Buleberry Vanilla), ice cream (backroad brownie) which are only available on this site! Not the old one with the long address to remember.

Oh, dont forget the jalapeno dip. I mean. I am curious how many got a chip, and how many got a cracker, and how many just straight spoon dipped. 🤔 turns out we still like that stuff to!

Some cute and taste tasty popcorn flavors were in there. I really duno how they got created, I do know how they tasted and I tell you what. I did like them. A lot.
